We try to come up with a top 10 triggers although I am sure we could have identified more! We love the game but these things really test our patience!

Pro Interview | Kyle Abbott

In this guest episode we chat with former South African international and current Hampshire bowler Kyle Abbott!
Kyle has averaged over 50 wickets per season since joining Hampshire. He has a test bowling average of 22 and a first class average of 21! The way he talks about bowling you would think its very easy and advises people to keep it simple but work incredibly hard!
We talk about why he prefers seam to swing, how he doesn't want too much bounce, and why he hates being left more than twice per over! He really goes into detail about his gameplan and what he looks to do. He will admit that it is simple in theory but hard to do and required hours of target bowling in his younger days in South Africa.

Pro Interview | Luke Fletcher

In this guest episode we chat with Nottinghamshire CCCs Luke Fletcher.
Luke is a current Nottinghamshire CCC player and cult hero. He is definitely one of the most recognisable and popular players on the county circuit (unless you are an opening batter). Luke is closing in on 500 first class wickets at an average in the mid twenties and an exceptional economy rate. He is also renowned for having an unbelievable yorker which he utilises in the short forms of the game, including the Hundred where he has played for Welsh Fire and Trent Rockets. He has won all the major honours in his time with his county and there is plenty more to come yet! 
Fletch loves to talk bowling (usually out in the middle)! He is great fun and this is a superb podcast in our opinion, full of bowling knowledge broken down simply for you. We chat about who is his bunny is and his most dismissed opponent, how he operates at left handers and how he has improved his game over time.

Icon Interview | Graeme 'Pop' Welch

In this guest episode we chat with the legendary bowling coach Graeme 'Pop' Welch.
Pop is a fantastic coach (we both agree). He has coached us at Essex, Warwickshire and Hampshire. Pops coaching style is based on an individuals needs so sessions can look very different from each others but they are underpinned by his philosophy of hard work and being a good teammate. He has strong values and is a philosophical guy!
Pops coaching CV is very impressive and he has lead bowling units to trophies in every format of the game including, most recently, the hundred with the Southern Brave. This isn't by accident as he really emphasises a strong culture and creating a bowling unit wherever he goes! His advice is gold!

Icon Interview | Rikki Clarke

In this legend/icon episode we chat with our former Warwickshire teammate Rikki Clarke.
Rikki is a former England international and county cricket legend who has represented Surrey, Derbyshire and Warwickshire. Rikki has been a really dependable performer over his career and has won multiple trophies with Surrey and Warwickshire in particular. He burst onto the scene in the early 2000s, however his bowling really peeked later in his career after his move to Warwickshire which we discuss. He has a staggeringly good T20 economy rate of 7.55 often bowling straight through the powerplay! He credits lots of his success to working with a great coach, putting in the yards and doing lots of target bowling.
He is a class act and great bloke who loves to chat about the game. He was a pleasure to chat to and we think you listeners will really enjoy what he has to say about his path to success and becoming a force with the ball!

How to bowl a better length!
